SwissRepro Conference 2026
This conference is the second edition of the event organised by SwissRepro, the leading research network for reproductive studies in Switzerland. The event will present current research on reproduction in social sciences and humanities in Switzerland.
Furthermore, an inspiring keynote will be given by Ezter Kismödi, international human rights lawyer on sexual and reproductive health law, policy and research (Yale University).
Studies on reproductive and sexual health and rights are a rapidly growing field of research that examines the social, cultural, political, legal and economic dimensions of reproductive and sexual health and their intersection with current issues such as gender, class and race. Until now, dialogue between languages in Switzerland has been limited. The aim is to create an opportunity for researchers from different disciplines within the humanities and social sciences, and from various linguistic regions, working on reproductive and sexual health, to meet, exchange ideas, network, and raise the profile of the SwissRepro network, launched in 2024.
The objectives of this edition of SwissRepro are as follows:
- To create an opportunity for researchers from different disciplines and linguistic regions working on reproductive and sexual health to meet, exchange ideas, network, and raise the profile of the SwissRepro network, launched in 2024.
- Reflect on the backlash against reproductive and sexual health rights.
- Present ongoing research projects in Switzerland through short presentations and other formats.
- Bring together the SwissRepro research network.
