7 December 2023. International support to museums in Ukraine

Within a frame of the exhibition Renaître dans la guerre. Louhansk. Un musée déplacé (Revival in the times of war. Luhansk, a displaced museum), Geneva Heritage Lab is inviting everyone to a round table discussion: International support to museums in Ukraine: lessons, challenges, and opportunities.

Our esteemed speakers will share their reflections and experiences of their respective organizations:

• Mme Olesia Milovanova (Director of the displaced Luhansk Regional History Museum),
• Mme Vira Orlovska (Geneva Heritage Lab, University of Geneva),
• Mme Małgorzata Ławrowska - von Thadden (founder and CEO of the International Platform for Cooperation with Ukrainian Museums - OBMIN),
• Mme Fabienne Aellen (coordinator for the protection of Ukrainian cultural heritage, Association of Swiss Museums and ICOM Switzerland),
• Mme Alexandra Fiebig (coordinating the ALIPH action plan for Ukraine, ALIPH - International Alliance for the Protection of Cultural Heritage in Conflict Zones).

The round table discussion will be moderated by Dr. Peter Bille Larsen (Geneva Heritage Lab).
