Romain Büchi

Postdoctoral Researcher

Romain Büchi is a postdoctoral researcher in the project Origins of Contemporary European Thought 1837-1938 led by Guillaume Fréchette and Spark investigator in the project Philosophical Research in the Age of AI. Prior to joining Fréchette's research group, he was a doctoral collaborator in the Realisms project led by Laurent Cesalli and a research assistant at the Chair of the History of Philosophy at the University of Zurich. He was a visiting scholar at the Archives Henri Poincaré at Université de Lorraine in Nancy (2025/26), at the Hoskinson Center for Formal Mathematics at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh (2024/25), and at the Department of Philosophy at UC Berkeley (2018/19).
