Elizabeth is a Scientific Collaborator in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Geneva with affiliations at the Geneva Centre for Humanitarian Studies and the Institute of Global Health. Her research focuses on the spatial and transmission dynamics of infectious diseases, the design and evaluation of surveillance systems and public health interventions, and the targeted delivery of vaccination campaigns and other disease control measures. Elizabeth has previous experience collaborating with public health organizations on the applied translation of research related to influenza, cholera, mpox, and COVID-19 and holds a PhD in Global Infectious Diseases from Georgetown University. With a background in science policy, Elizabeth aims to translate scientific research into policies that promote effective and evidence-based disease control.
