Researchers' excellence rewarded at LS2
Last February 11 & 12 in Zurich, during the annual meeting of the LS2 "Fueling life across scales", three PHYM researchers have been awarded.
Prof. Pierre Cosson has been rewarded for his contributions to LS2 and his outstanding scientific career and achievements on host-pathogen interactions.

Two PHYM young researchers were also awarded. The second prize for the best oral presentation went to Dr Marta Balkota from the laboratory of Prof. Pierre Maechler for her presentation entitled “Brain Mitochondrial Glutamate Metabolism coordinates body energy balance and age-related behavioural changes” and Dr Nicolas Rosa from the laboratory of Prof. Nicolas Demaurex received an award for his poster entitled "Investigating the role of Piezo1 Ca2+ channels in neutrophils".
