A focus on Neuroimaging and Psychosis at Campus Biotech
On August 21, 2025, the Synapsy Center organized a neuroimaging seminar dedicated to psychosis. It was held at Campus Biotech.
The symposium opened with a keynote lecture by Dr. Vinod Menon, Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University, entitled “Transdiagnostic cognitive-control models in developmental psychopathology.” Vinod Menon's groundbreaking research has profoundly transformed our approach to the development and functioning of major brain networks, offering major insights into the understanding of psychiatric and neurological disorders.
The event also featured shorter presentations by local principal investigators (Professors Indrit Bègue and Valerio Zerbi, and Drs. Sandini and Wan from the Department of Psychiatry at the Faculty of Medicine), illustrating the diversity of neuroimaging research projects conducted within the Synapsy community.
For Professor Stéphan Eliez, organizer, this “seminar provided a valuable opportunity for members of our community to present their projects, foster discussions, and explore future collaborations—including joint publications.”
