I am a physicist fascinated by biology and its complexity. I combine my education in physics and statistics with cutting-edge live-cell microscopy to engineer quantitative microscopy approaches and image analysis software that detail the molecular architecture and dynamics of membrane trafficking processes and how these differ across species. Before coming to Geneva, I completed an interdisciplinary PhD program at the University of Torino (Italy), and I then moved to EMBL Heidelberg (Germany) to deepen my knowledge about live-cell microscopy.
