Anaïs Giannuzzo

Doctorante de Julia Langkau

I am working under Dr Julia Langkau's supervision on the SNSF PRIMA project "Creativity, Imagination and Tradition". My research interests revolve around the philosophy of mind, the aesthetics and epistemology. In particular, I am interested in topics such as the acquiring of self-knowledge through works of fiction, the mental states we experience when reading fiction – notably regarding the impact the form of fictional works has on our experiences of fiction –, and narration.

Other topics I am eager to explore in the course of my PhD revolve around creativity and AI, for instance: Is there a link between self-knowledge and creativity? What role does narration play in creative processes? Can a work created by an AI be considered creative, and why (not) – notably with respects to narration and self-knowledge?
