functional analysis of the genome, molecular pathophysiology of monogenic and polygenic diseases such as Down syndrome, coagulation diseases and nervous system disorders (mood disorders, epilepsy).

Development: embryonic development and differentiation of mammalian cells (in mice), stem cells (embryonic cells, neurons, cancer). Functional genomics, comparative genomics, positional cloning, genotyping, bioinformatics, genomics, morphological and functional production and analysis of transgenic mice, computational analyses of genomic data, behavioural neurogenetics and brain imaging, molecular and cellular biology.
