A prize from the Faculty of Medicine
One of the prizes from the Faculty of Medicine was awarded for research carried out within the Department of cell physiology and metabolism.
Dr Marta Sousa received the Denber-Pinard prize, for her PhD thesis conducted under the supervision of Pr Michelangelo Foti and Dr Monika Gjorgjieva entitled «microRNAs in Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease and Hepatocellular Carcinoma».
The award ceremony will take place on the 4th of June 2024 at 5pm in the auditorium A-F Müller (A250), CMU.
