Studying French

You wish to improve your French because French is your programme of study (your discipline or one of your disciplines of study at your university): the School of French Language and Civilisation (ELCF) has developed a specific offer for mobility students: the Immersion Year (ADI).

- Intensive programme focusing on the French language, in principle full-time and for the whole academic year (possibility to register for 1 semester, in principle the autumn semester only);

  • Prerequisite = A2 level acquired;
  • Objective: B1 or B1+ level;
  • Registration based on applications, limited number of places.

Students who have a level higher than B1 can be integrated into other courses of the ELCF or the Faculty of Arts.

  • Additional documents for the ELCF to be provided with the application file:
    • French programme followed at your university, with a brief description of the course content and the number of hours per semester.
    • 1 letter of recommendation from one of your French teachers.
