Laura is a physical therapist with a master's degree in rehabilitation sciences. Over the past several years, she has focused on studying healthcare access for people with disabilities in low- and middle-income countries. Passionate about promoting health equity and sustainability in global health, Laura's primary research centers on the use and appropiation of information and communication technologies to improve healthcare access for people with disabilities, specially deaf population.

I chose the PhD program in Global Health at the University of Geneva because of its flexibility and multidisciplinary approach.
