Frauke Müller appointed Honorary Professor of Chulalongkorn University of Bangkok

Frauke Müller, full professor and head of the Division of Gerodontology and removable prosthodontics at the University Clinics of Dental Medicine (CUMD), has been appointed Honorary Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.
Frauke Müller has held the Chair of Gerodontology at the Faculty of Medicine since 2003, and is Associate Physician in charge of the Gerodontology Unit, Division of Geriatrics, Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics, HUG. Trained in Germany and the UK, she was President of the CUMD from 2018 to 2022. An expert in the fields of mastication and nutrition in the elderly and quality of life with removable appliances, she has chaired the European College of Gerodontology and the Geriatric Oral Research Group of the IADR, as well as the Swiss Society of Gerodontology and Special Dental Care (SSGS). She is also Doctor Honoris Causa of the University of Thessaloniki, a double laureat of the IADR Distinguished Scientist Award in 2013 and 2023, and a honorary Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Chulalongkorn University is Thailand's oldest and most prestigious higher education institution. It is now a research university offering a wide range of disciplines, including in medicine, and is involved in international research projects, sustainability, digitisation and health. For some years now, Chulalongkorn University has been working closely with the UNIGE's Faculty of Medicine through the CUMD. As part of these exchanges, reciprocal visits by researchers and students take place on a regular basis.
