Accountability in Action: Locally-Led Approaches from East Africa

Executive Short Course

East Africa has become a leading region for innovation in humanitarian accountability, community engagement, and people-centred programming. This hands-on residential course, held in Nairobi, explores locally led approaches and regional best practices that are reshaping humanitarian and development work. Developed in partnership with local actors, and designed for practitioners, policy-makers, and donors from across the humanitarian–development–peace nexus, the course offers a collaborative learning space to exchange experiences, visit organisations, and co-design actionable strategies for more inclusive and locally owned accountability systems.
